1988年，18歲的 Tommy Page 出了第一張個人專輯《Tommy Page》，是我生平第一次購買的英文專輯卡帶，其中有一首歌讓我至今難忘，常常徘徊於腦海裡，歌名叫作「A Shoulder To Cry On」。
這首歌是我高中時期記憶最深刻的兩首英文歌之一，另一首是 Madonna 的「Like A Prayer」。
「A Shoulder To Cry On」的詞曲均出自 Tommy Page 之手，也是此張同名大碟的主打歌；在這張專輯裡有兩首歌是他獨力創作，另外八首歌則是他和別人合作，所以是一張不折不扣的完全創作專輯。
如今聽來，依舊讓人感動，更添一絲悲傷。
